The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald: The Ship, the Storm, and the Song

Steve Ackerman will present the Badger Talk "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald: The Ship, the Storm, and the Song" This talk will explore the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald from perspectives of the weather, the ship and the song by Gordon Lightfoot.

Early Release: Dissecting Owl Pellets

Wednesday, October 15, 2:30pm
Learn more about owls and their diet with a brief talk and a hands-on dissection of a sterilized owl pellet! Owl pellets are the undigested parts of the owl's diet that the owl spits up, similar to cat hairballs. We'll be using gloves. 
For grades K-5. Ages 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Culver's Reading Program

The Culver's Winter Reading Program has returned! Pick up your bookmark at the library, read 10 books, bring the bookmark back to be stamped, and then take it to the Sauk City Culver's for a sweet treat and kid's meal. Open to ages 18 and under. The program runs until May 2, 2026.
